Not only does this charming cottage have a great location in the midst of downtown Skaneateles, NY, but it also offers 2600 square feet of space is filled with multitudes of great amenities. When you arrive, you'll be just down the street from Fennell Street's historic Old Stone Mill. Since it's right in the middle of the village's downtown area, you'll feel like you have that condo feel. You'll literally be able to walk out to enjoy a meal or great shopping in any of the area's wonderful boutiques. And while all of Skaneateles is just right outside you're front door, you're also only 1 block from the lake. From enjoying the village to relaxing by or in the water, this location gives you the best of everything in the area!
Amenities This home has an attractive blend of antique and modern furnishings. It's got an enormous amount of space, including a living room with comfortable seating for ten people and a beautiful fireplace. With its marble colored granite countertops and moss green cabinets, the kitchen is the perfect example of the home's beautifully blended style. As with the living room, the eat-in kitchen has plenty of space for ten people. If you're planning on a longer meal, there's also a formal dining room for eight. |

Our family used this lovely cottage as a base for a Cornell graduation. Although Cornell was about an hour's drive away, we loved being able to escape the Ithaca crowds and enjoy Skaneateles. It was great to be able to walk to everything. The house was beautifully clean and everything felt fresh and new. Great accommodation and easy and efficient management.

The Victorian Cottage is an ideal venue for creating family memories! Our family gathers only a few times a year, and we search for comfortable accommodations in charming communities that provide an opportunity for relaxation, as well as fine restaurants, shopping, scenery, and recreational activities. Just a short walk to the main street and lake in Skaneateles, the Victorian Cottage on Fennell Street certainly exceeded our anticipation and expectations!
The "cottage" is bright and sparkling - newly renovated. Gathering areas are spacious and beautifully furnished - just perfect for socializing! Everything is immaculate, and all conveniences are provided. The upstairs features four lovely bedrooms with generous closets; the comfy Temperpedic sofa bed in the living room with pocket doors adds a fifth private sleeping area. Three full bathrooms (two up and one down) that are just right for a large group. Plus, the art work and decorative pieces certainly provide for interesting conversation! Rick, the owner, was easy to reach and especially accommodating. Since we had four children in our group, Rosalie's family style take-out was a nice alternative to dining out, (plus, gave us a chance to enjoy the house even more). We took advantage of local playgrounds, golfing at Highland Park Golf Club, and the nearby Mirbeau Spa. It couldn't have been a more perfect weekend!

What a beautiful home for family memories! Our four children live in various cities in the eastern US; coming to Skaneateles for a relaxing get-together couldn't have been more perfect. Everyone was delighted with the accommodations; every convenience was provided at 15 Fennell Street.
Family take-out at Rosalie's was an excellent alternative to dining out. The entire weekend was above and beyond our expectations. Many thanks!

This is a very beautiful and perfectly maintained home that is close to everything. If you come in the summer you are only a block or so from a public beach on beautiful Skaneateles Lake and can enjoy the big back deck as well as the front porch. We enjoyed exploring the shops, walking along the shore, going to the Coffee House at the book store that is one block away with live acoustic music on both Saturday and Sunday night (they also serve goodies and beer and wine!). We cooked some wonderful meals in the kitchen and went out to some fabulous restaurants in the area (all within walking distance). We even found a consignment store which is always fun. The home was clean, the bedding very comfortable with lots of pillows and plenty of seating in the kitchen and dining areas.

15 Fennell Street is a beautiful house in the perfect location. We stayed for the weekend for a wedding and really enjoyed our time in Skaneateles. The house was clean, decorated beautifully, and the perfect size for 10 adults. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place that is walking distance to all of the restaurants and stores as well as the lake. Great stay, thank you again!!

What an absolutely wonderful house! We were impressed and pleased with the house at 15 Fennel Street and very much enjoyed our stay there. Our family came to town for a wedding. Being able to stay together made the trip even more special. The renovation and furnishings are all top notch and the ambiance perfect for a relaxing family gathering. We all felt right at home.
The location, within walking distance of the village's shopping, dining and lakeside attractions, could not be more convenient. Excellent value overall, compared to a typical hotel stay. We look forward to coming back.

Lovely home and lovely area! Our family had a wonderful weekend. The house was spacious enough for all to have separate space and great gathering spots. The house was well equipped and had a lovely color palette. Love the furnishings!
Skaneateles is a beautiful little town. Lovely walks! The bakery on Jordan Street was a great sport for donuts in the morning. The fireworks last night were a great finish to our stay!

We visited this lovely village of Skaneateles, NY for the graduation ceremonies for our daughter from Syracuse University. Staying here allowed us to be together in one place, with all the grandparents as well. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at 15 Fennell very much.
Your house is amazing, exquisitely detailed, and contained everything we needed for a wonderful stay! Thank you for allowing us to rent this house and for the lovely detail and décor! We enjoyed the games.

We were here for a wedding shower for our son and daughter-in-law. We traveled from Iowa and it was our first exposure to the area. Very nice home and conveniently located. Finger Lakes are spectacular. We are still working on pronouncing "Skaneateles."
